New Tobacco Atlas Estimates Higher Burden of Tobacco on Low and Middle-Income Countries

The new Tobacco Atlas estimates that as revenues from the global tobacco industry rises, the burden of tobacco cultivation, consumption, illness and death is moving from developed to developing parts of the world and is taking an increased toll on low- and middle-income countries. 

The Tobacco Atlas is published by the American Cancer Society (ACS) and The World Lung Federation.
